The Federal Government says it has almost completed requirements expected to reverse the United States of America Visa Ban on a certain category of Nigerians travellers.

A few days away the United States blacklisted some notable politicians, thus denying them access for ‘undermining democratic principles at the expense of Nigerians‘.

The Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Mustapha Sulaiman while meeting with US Embassy Officials at the Ministry’s headquarter’s in Abuja urged the US government to re-evaluate its position on the visa ban.

Sulaiman says Nigeria has put in tremendous efforts to ensure that the ban is reversed in an effort to allow for citizen to citizen interaction and benefits.

The meeting had in attendance representatives from the Ministry of foreign affairs, the Nigeria immigration service and other relevant government agencies.
