U.S President Donald Trump and the CEO of Twitter, Jack Dorsey along with other associated representatives were in a 30 minutes long conversation about the social media platform and here is what was discussed.
The meeting, organized by the White house bordered on Trump’s allegations that the platform is biased against conservatives .
They also discussed Twitter’s commitment to protecting the health of public conversation ahead of the 2020 U.S elections. An issue Dorsey had earlier announced ways to address.
Another key issue raised was Trump’s distraught on losing followers a whopping 204,000 approximately 0.4% of his following which Dorsey attributed to the purge of suspicious accounts on its platform.
At the end of the meeting, both parties seemed more positive about progress and here are some tweets to boot.
