Wole Soyinka finally reacts to the recent story about the Business Class Airplane Seat that has been making the rounds since this week after Tonye Cole, former Governorship Candidate for Rivers State.
So much has been said with many wondering whether it was rude of the young man to request his seat or not, well the Nobel Laureate after much ado has finally cleared the air, first off he admitted that he wasn’t really bothered about the seat although read Tonye Cole’s comment.
In a similar vein he also clarified that asides the brief exchange of seat with the young man, there was no further communication as the young man, Tosin Odunfa claimed via his Instagram Profile. The whole facade was so believable, that many on social platforms blamed Tonye Cole for over-reacting!
The man, Tosin Odunfa eventually owned up to have made up the whole scenario and now it appears he may not have been the young man on the plane afterall and decided to ride in on a publicity stunt!
