Why Naira Marley is still stuck in Prison despite N2million bail

Nigerian singer, Naira Marley is still stuck in prison despite being granted N2million bail last week.

Naira Marley was arrested by the EFCC a few weeks for alleged criminal offences, including internet fraud.

Interestingly, since the 30th of May when he was granted bail, he is yet to be released because No Lagos state Level 10 and above civil service officer with landed properties has agreed to stand as surety for him, due to his alleged criminal records.

After a motion for bail was presented before the court last week, two conditions were given as the request got granted.

Naira Marley must provide Two Million Naira (2,000,000) bond, and two sureties, one with a landed property and the other, a Civil Servant, not lower than a level officer.
