| Yesterday we brought you news that the Ekiti State Governor, Peter Ayodele Fayose had sacked with immediate effect two board chairmen without the reason for this.
The persons involved are the Chairman of the State Teaching Service Commission, Chief Gabriel Falayi and the Chairman of the Governing Council of the College of Education, Ikere Ekiti, Professor Babajide Alo. Dr Modupe Alade, Secretary to the state government, has confirmed in a statement, that the decision came as part of the need for government parastatals to be reorganized for effective service delivery. Chief Femi Ogundipe has been appointed to replace Chief Falayi, while Mrs Adeola Yesufu replaces Professor Al,o and Mrs Folasade Akinrinmola becomes a full-time member of the state Universal Education Board, with immediate effect.
