The Senator representing Osun West senatorial district, Ademola Adeleke has dismissed as laughable and an abuse of court process a suit seeking his removal as a senator.
A statement issued Friday night by Hon Niyi Owolade, Adeleke’s Legal Adviser, stated that “The initial judgement that this irritating suit is based on has been widely condemned by all learned minds, especially as the document wrongly declared as forged was duly issued by the authorities of the school.
Adeleke’s legal adviser said that it is in court records that the school Principal deposed to an affidavit confirming the testimonial and statement of results were duly issued by the school.
He queried why Adeleke’s result will be declared fake when WAEC’s deputy Registrar also came to depose to an Affidavit in court with the Certified True Copies of the same result submitted by Senator for his Senatorial election screening.
Senator Adeleke however, reassured his supporters and people of Osun state that there is no cause for alarm as this suit will surely be dismissed in its totality.
