According to the Peoples Democratic Party, former Minister of Finance, Mrs Kemi Adeosun should return the wages she received while serving the nation; starting from when she was commissioner in Ogun State to her last position as Minister of Finance.
This follows her resignation a few days ago. Find out why she resigned here
The main opposition party’s National Chairman, Uche Secondus, added that though she had resigned, Adeosun must be prosecuted to discourage others.
According to the Chairman, if the Federal Government under President Muhammadu Buhari fails to take action, it would show that its efforts against corruption have been in vain.
Meanwhile, the PDP has also advised the National Assembly to probe the books of the finance ministry while Adeosun was at the helm, as well as the petroleum resources ministry, which is under President Muhammadu Buhari.
