The UN Resident Humanitarian Coordinator for Myanmar, Knut Ostby, and a Representative of the UNICEF, June Kunugi, made this known in a joint statement on Friday.

UN said Myanmar has now discharged 924 underage child soldiers since signing up to a joint action plan on child soldiers with UN agencies in June 2012.
