Massimiliano Allegri set to take a year sabbatical from coaching

Former AC Milan coach, Massimiliano Allegri has stated that he intends to take his time before returning to football management and has not ruled out the possibility of embarking on a year sabbatical.

The 51-year-old parted ways with Serie A champions, Juventus yesterday after winning five Scudetti with the Turin giants.

Allegri has been linked with a move to England, specifically Chelsea, but he insists he is willing to wait before deciding on his next job.

Having conquered the Italian Serie A with AC Milan and Juventus, Massimiliano Allegri is expected to seek for new challenges outside of Italy, especially has he hopes to conquer Europe having led Juventus to two unsuccessful finals.
