Leah Sharibu still not home, government silent - BBOG

February 19, 2019 made it exactly a year Leah Sharibu was kidnapped by Boko Haram terrorists from her school, GGTS School in Dapchi, Yobe state.

She was abducted along with one hundred and nine other girls from their secondary school but while most of the girls have since been released, Sharibu has been denied freedom after reportedly refusing to renounce her Christian faith for Islam.

Plustv Africa spoke with a member of the Bring Back Our Girls Group (BBOG) that has been championing calls for her safe return.

While they complained about the government’s silence on the issue, they declared their stance on not giving up till she is set free.
