These protesters are gathered to condemn the proposed government demolition of houses alleged allocated them by the Lagos Government at Ikota Housing Estate.
The protest built to hold at 8:15 am Thursday morning at VGC roundabout was moved to Ikota Housing Estate following fears that it will be hijacked by politicians.
Only last week, the Lagos State Government has issued a 7-day notice to residents asking them to evacuate the area ahead of planned demolition.
There are over 200,000 persons living in this Area.
