With the commencement of commercial operations by the State Airline, Governor Udom Emmanuel has assured that Ibom Air is an economic enterprise by the Akwa Ibom State Government, that has come to stay.
The Governor said that his government has undertaken a proper business plan to ensure the success of the Airline, stressing that Ibom Air is fully owned by the Akwa Ibom State Government.
He remarked that his administration is not perturbed about negative propaganda by critics, explaining that he is focused on what his government can do to better the lives of the people.
The Governor also thanked the management and staff of the Airline for a successful commercial launch tasking them to be committed and excellent in their service delivery.
Some former Commissioners also share same optimism.
