The Obafemi Awolowo University, Ile Ife has sacked Professor Richard Akindele, the lecturer who allegedly demanded sex from one of his female students, Monica Osagie, to earn marks and pass his course.
The announcement of Akindele’s sack was made by the university’s vice chancellor, Eyitope Ogunbodede, at a press conference in Ife, Wednesday.
The vice-chancellor said the Governing Council of the university found Professor Akindele guilty of all the charges against him.
