The Abia State Governor, Okezie Ikpeazu, has presented a budget estimate of over 139 billion Naira to the State House of Assembly for the 2019 fiscal year.

Ikpeazu explained that the 2019 estimate has a capital expenditure projection of seventy one billion, seven hundred and twenty eight million, eight hundred and ninety eight thousand Naira.
