Richard Mofe Damijo (RMD) has advised his fans that material things or flashy things don’t make a person happy, using Aliko Dangote and Michelle Obama as a valid point of reference.
This is off the back of the new trend of body enhancement and flaunting of material possessions by public figures for the purpose of obtaining happiness.
The veteran actor said “enlargements of body parts and weight loss cannot make anyone truly happy. It only magnifies one’s insecurity in his opinion. Validation isn’t necessary when self-love is in place”.

Richard Mofe Damijo wrote that being there and done that, he is of the opinion that ‘weight loss, weight gain… marriage, buying or building a house, having kids, wearing expensive clothes and shoes cannot make you truly happy’.
“Mostly, the things we do to show others we are beautiful, made, tough or connected are only things that prove our insecurities.”
