Tennis great Rafael Nadal’s hopes of winning the ATP Finals for the first time came back on track after defeating defending champion and Greek top seed, Stefanos Tsitsipas, 6-4, 4-6, 6-2.
After a disappointing tie at the start of the third set, Nadal’s experience came into play, as he qualified for the semi-finals for the first time in five years.
Tsitsipas fought back, but a double-fault gave Nadal the chance to serve for his opening set, which he achieved with successive aces.
