Earlier today, Iranian authorities announced that its military was responsible for taking down the Ukrainian plane that mysteriously went up in flames shortly after takeoff from Iran.

Despite several denials of any interference, Iran finally owned up to the crash citing it was an error through a top Revolutionary Guards commander who informed the relevant authorities the same day it happened. The ballistic missile killed all 176 people on board the flight.

The Prime Minister of Canada, Trudeau and the U.S Intelligence had previously pointed accusing fingers suggesting that the attack originated from Iran, this comes in the midst of highly elevated tensions between Iran and the United States of America after a top Iranian Commander and his crew was taken down in a drone attack orchestrated by the President of the United States, Donald Trump.

Iran has duly apologised for the ‘mistake’ saying they grieve with all the mourning families and that according to punitive measures will be meted out to erring parties, however, the Ukranian President, Volodymyr Zelenskiy and Iranian President, Hassan Rouhani are expected to hold a telephone conversation over the sudden confession.

Both the Iranian and French President have recently agreed that French specialist will decode the content of the black box of the crashed Boeing 737 that was fatally shot down. Emmanuel Macron will also be visiting Kiev according to the Ukranian President’s Office.
