Enugu leads 11 states as Nigeria records 195 covid-19 cases

There are 195 new Covid-19 infections in Nigeria reported in 11 states with the total number of confirmed cases in the country now 57,437.

The highest number of daily Covid-19 infections are in Enugu State that has 51 new cases.

The other infections are in Gombe – 40; Lagos – 39; Plateau – 23; FCT – 15; Rivers – 12; Kaduna – 8; Ondo – 3; Bauchi – 2; Edo and Ogun – 1 each.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control, NCDC, reported that 105 Covid-19 patients have been discharged across Nigeria in the last 24 hours. This brings the total number of successfully treated cases in the country to 48,674.

Meanwhile, two more persons have died of Covid-19 related complications in Nigeria as the national death toll gets to 1,100.
