Real reason why Burna Boy’s mother picked BET award on his behalf

Burna Boy has now revealed why his mum received his ‘Best International act‘ award for him at the just concluded 2019 BET awards.

Sharing the reason on Twitter moments ago, the singer claimed he missed the award category announcement because he was out to get a drink.

He tweeted thus:
“Funny enough I went to Get a drink! I would have collected this one,”
You will recall that Burnaboy’s award was received by Bose Ogulu, who is his mum and manager.
