The L.A. County District Attorney’s Office has charged the filmmaker Scott Speer with arson and domestic violence and on 3 more felony counts; each on criminal threats, child abuse, and resisting arrest.
The child abuse details are not clear though, but he would be faced with a serious jail term if convicted on all counts.
The arson charge alone could keep him behind bars for 8 years.
Scott Speer was arrested last month at his San Fernando Valley home when he had allegedly roughed up his wife.
