Following a detailed briefing by security chiefs on the current situation in the country, President Muhammadu Buhari will make a national broadcast on Thursday, October 22, 2020, at 7 pm.
This was contained in a statement issued by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Femi Adeshina, on Thursday.
Adesina noted that television, radio, and other electronic media outlets are enjoined to hook up to the network services of the Nigerian Television Authority, NTA, and Radio Nigeria respectively for the broadcast.
Earlier, the National Security Adviser, NSA, Major-General Babagana Monguno, said that President Buhari will announce a critical solution to the #EndSARS protests in a couple of hours.
The NSA said this at the end of the fourth National Security Council meeting held at the Presidential Villa in Abuja on Thursday.
