The Edo State Government has announced that two more facilities within the state will be used as testing centres for the COVID 19 virus.
The Stella Obasanjo Hospital, Benin and the University of Benin Teaching Hospital (UBTH).
Godwin Obaseki, the Governor of Edo state announced the state plans to screen over 500000 individuals living within the States within the next few weeks for the COVID 19.
The strategy is to increase the States effort in quickly detecting and managing the virus outbreak. The government of the state is working very hard to contain the outbreak.
The residents of the state have been advised to practice physical distance and good hygiene by washing their hands regularly and if there is no water in the environment to use hand sanitizers to prevent themselves from contracting the virus.
