The National President of the Biafra Nations Youth League, BNYL, Princewill Chimezie Richard has tested positive for Coronavirus.
The group made this known in a statement issued on Monday by the BNYL Press Secretary, Richard Dianabasi.
Dianabasi said the BNYL leader tested positive because he received his brother who returned from Sweden days ago “and who also tested positive at a quarantine unit in Lagos.”
The group also accused President Muhammadu Buhari of doing a video record for national address, adding that it does not depict the character of a good leader.
Minister of Health, Osagie Ehanire, had earlier said that Nigeria recorded another Coronavirus death on Monday.
Ehanire made the disclosure at a media briefing on Monday.
“As of today, we have recorded 111 confirmed cases of Coronavirus in Nigeria.
“Till date, three persons have been discharged after successful treatment.
“But sadly, another fatality was recorded over the weekend,” he said.
